What's a "talking head"?

Actually it is just that, the head and shoulders of someone presenting to camera. They are a way of getting a message over - on-page about an issue you want to talk about.

Very often they will describe corporate feelings, the state of a market, the progress of a product and more recently they are taaking over the ranks of client testimonials.

When you visit a web site and look for testimonials, in which of these options would you hold most credibility?

1. A testimonial based on a few lines of text - that may have a picture of someone in it.

OR

2. A testimonial VIDEO showing that person in the corporate wear, at their place of work - talking about the company / product / service they are delighted with.
